“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Matt 9:36
As it was His custom, He set out on a faithful day, moving about and doing good. Multitude throngs after Him. Some despised Him while some hailed Him. He never took the praise of men into His mind neither He allowed the hatred of them stop Him from doing good.
He was so lively. He looks very handsome. His cloth was as white as snow. Despite people thronging after Him, touching and seeking His favour, yet His cloth did not get dirty.
There was different kind of people following Him. The desolate, destitute, frustrated, harlots, sick people, fable men and women, the so called less privileged in the society were following Him.
The rich had no time for Jesus. “We don’t need Jesus! He is for the poor. We are rich. We can afford any medical bill and eat good food. Leave Jesus for the poor” that was the word of the rich people in the society.
Jesus looked at how people were struggling to find solution and receive help. Some people that could not walk too want to come and be healed; those that were hungry and weak were struggling to get help. Jesus Christ was moved. He was moved because He knew the truth that His father did not created them the way they were. He knew situation and circumstances of life made them to be who they were. He knew wicked men of evil mind made them who they are.
Just as most politicians or wicked leaders deliberately make people poor, suffer, jobless, hungry, and sick so as to take advantage of their poverty to enrich themselves. I watch a horrible video many years ago. Whereby an Africa leader was illustrating how the politician should treat people in order to remain in power and gain control over them.
The man brought out a life fowl and peeled off its feathers left the fowl nicked. The fowl could no long have ability to flight or move around to seek for food it was just on a spot in the cold. The wicked evil Africa leader said “if you give people too much freedom, food and good life you will not gain full control over them”(paraphrase). What an evil ideology!
Jesus Christ knew how wicked human being could be. He knew most situation, bad, good, and ugly, are created by men. For everything God created were good.
Jesus saw the multitude struggling in sickness, pain, poverty and penury and was moved. He was moved not to sympathize with them but to have compassion for them and solve their problems. Mt 20:34 says “So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.”
- It is my prayer that Jesus Christ will have compassion on you and touch your life.
- Every reproach in your life shall turn to testimony
- The compassion of Jesus led to positive transformation. Today and forever you are free from struggling to survive. There shall be positive transformation in all areas of your life In Jesus Name
- Every one contributing to the hardship of people will go down into the grave in pain, and sorrow except he or she repented.
It is well with your soul. If you have not giving your life to Jesus Kindly do it NOW! Surrender your life and situation to Jesus and you will have peace even in the midst of trouble.
